I am honored to have joined the family of Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College and Research Centre (SVMCH &RC) as Dean and happy to put forth few words of message.

The Institute’s ambience is very ethereal and it contributes to overall development of student’s self confidence and happy living. The Vision and mission of the Institute is rightly set, to give the Nation an Indian Medical graduates who can attain the Global standards in delivering the health care .

In this endevear, the college has experienced , knowledgable and highly skilled faculty who are transferring their knowledge and skills to the students in a smooth, cheerful way and stress free manner. The academic activities of each department are pre- planned to make the students to prepare in advance so as to promote self studying and self development. The library is equipped with recent books and journals and has quite ambient environment which the students should make use of.

The emergency services department is responsible for delivering interdisciplinary timely care and is set to deliver standard care in line with the National and Global protocols and the students should participate and collaborate to achieve the goal of learning and practicing the life saving skills To achieve this every student’s motto should be to save life first, to master the BCLS and ACLS skills and to innovate through Research. The central research lab offers opportunities to carry out research in basic sciences which can be collaborated with clinical research to translate to new patient management protocols.

The innovative ideas of the students with the guidance of the faculty can fetch the Institute grants for innovative research from National and international research funders. Every one is encouraged to come forward with their ideas which will be recognised as their intellectual property.

The rotational postings to superspeciality departments in the Institute and outstation postings should be utilised to gain the advanced skills and knowledge . The Institute’s ambience is good for leanrning without overcrowding and the time should be utilised for more clinical case discussions. The Institute is organising many continous educational programmes and also facilitating continuous updates in various disciplines and the multidisciplinary meetings are the way forward to groom one-self into a good clinician and researcher. As Dean I am committed to uphold the academic excellence, and promote Reasearch and create an environment for continous learning and foster the cuiture of innovation, experimentation which is safe to Patients.

“HEALTH IS WEALTH” : Promoting health of the employee’s is an important aspect and everyone has a responsibility to protect themselves from hospital acquired infections by adopting preventive healthcare strategies and the Institute is committed to achieve this as well. Apart from self hygiene , good habits , following the principals of biomedical waste disposal is important for preventive health care and each one needs to follow the standards to keep the envromment hazaerd free. Good Nutrition is essential to boost our immunity and we do preach the patients and we need to practice as well inspite of busy schedule and the hygienic environment is to be maintained by all health care workers in all places.

Continuous and smooth interaction with each other , maintaining discipline and promting exchange of ideas across all disciplines achieves the vision and mission of the Institute. Management staff are the pillars of the basement and their strength, co-operation and dedication in maintaing the Institutes strength and facilitating the conducive environment for faculty, students and patients is of utmost important . Their constant efforts to retain the eminent faculty can improve the quality of education which in-turn shapes each students career ad achieves the vision and mission which the Institute has set.

The Parents / Guardians are assured of quality education at SVMCH& RC and all colleges of SVGI and encouraged to admit their children fearlessly and are encouraged to attend Parent Teacher meetings regularly and are welcome at anytime to interact with the administrators .The accreditations of this Institute guarantee that the Institute meets the specific standards and provides Quality education.
