Program specific outcome:
- Demonstrate competence in initial patient assessment, triaging by weighing the relevance of information obtained
- Learn to present a succinct history in both verbal and written form
- Be comfortable and confident to perform a general physical examination, per abdominal examination, per speculum examination and per vaginal examination
- Learn to recommend appropriate laboratory and radiological investigations and interpret their results
- Be able to make a diagnosis based on the history obtained, physical examination and investigation reports
- Conduct normal vaginal deliveries with appropriate monitoring
- Assist in performing surgical procedures
- Learn to monitor patients post operatively and know when to call for help
PG – MS (OBG), Department of OBG:
- Diagnose and appropriately manage all common obstetrics and gynaecological patients, both during emergencies and in out patient department
- Provide antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care
- Be able to decide on the modality of delivery and be able to ensure a healthy mother and baby
- Perform all minor surgical procedures and basic major surgical procedures like caesarean sections, hysterectomies ( abdominal and vaginal ), cystectomies, etc
- Assist other skilful surgical procedures like laproscopic surgeries, oncological surgeries, reconstructive plastic surgeries,etc
- Manage, document and deal medico- legal cases confidently
- Learn by actively participating in academic activities like seminars, journal clubs, group discussions, case discussions and grand rounds
- Teach undergraduate students both theoretically and practically
- Have adequate knowledge in biomedical research methodology and statistics and be able to do dissertations, paper publications, presentations
- Keep updating their knowledge by active learning, having discussions and attending CME s and conferences

- Antenatal, intranatal and postnatal care is provided free of cost by a qualified team of dedicated faculty round the clock
- Gynecological surgeries like Sacrocolpopexy, Hystero-sacrocolpopexy, Le Forts operation, Myomectomy for large cervical and Broad ligament fibroids, radical surgeries for end-stage malignancies, recanalisation, etc are done on a regular basis by expert surgeons
- All latest Artificial Reproductive Techniques (ART) like Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intra cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) are provided at nominal cost
- We provide all our Obstetric services at free of cost and our Gynecological treatment at a nominal cost as a service to the society. In this way even the rural women in our locality are able to access to affordable healthcare services in a clean and ambient atmosphere.

- To ensure hygiene practices, all mothers are provided a free maternal and child care kit.
