Overview
The department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was started in 2006. The department provides a full spectrum of services ranging from wound care for all diabetic wounds, pressure sores, all hand surgeries, microvascular reconstructions, congenital deformities, burns, oncoreconstruction, all extremity trauma reconstruction, cosmetic procedures. We aim to provide quality and result oriented treatment to all the patients.
We have performed many surgical procedures including hand trauma, facial injuries and diabetic foot salvage surgeries. Tandom with the department of surgical oncology, we have performed many oncoreconstructive procedures especially head & Neck reconstruction.
Vision
To establish a full fledged tertiary care plastic and reconstructive surgery department. To provide 24 hours trauma care and facio – maxillary services with zero delay. To propagate awareness and availability of Cosmetic, Burns care, Hand surgery, and Correction of congenital birth defects to the society, for early correction. To establish a full fledged department and to start M.Ch. Plastic surgery.
Mission
We provide dedicated and committed health care services by qualified specialists with separate ward for Plastic surgery & Burns ward with ultra modern facilities. To go for tie up with charity organization, for totally free surgical correction, to deserving people from poor community, like”Smile Train” etc. We attract more patients by Quality and dedicated personalized services in our department.

- We provide 24 x 7 trauma care services in our hospital in treating all hand injuries, facial injuries, burns, extremity injuries.
- Exclusive ward for burns patients.
- Well-equipped operating theatres.
- Microvascular equipments such as magnifying Loupes, operating microscope.
- Attached physiotherapy department for providing post-op rehabilitation.

- Hand Clinic – Monday (2.00 PM to 3.30 PM)
- Congenital deformities (Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate) – Wednesday (2.00 PM to 3.30 PM)

Ongoing Research
Pedicled Fibula flap for the reconstruction of infected Charcot’s midtarsal collapse – diabetic rocker-bottom foot.
- Regular camps are conducted in Schools & Colleges for creating awareness, early detection of congenital deformities and its treatment.
- Awareness program in industries regarding safety and prevention of occupational related trauma especially to extremities and face.
